May is National Move Month. Traditionally, it begins the moving season for summer moves across the nation. Moving can be a stressful time for anyone. My biggest advise is to plan and get yourself organized before the 11th hour. Get a strategy for your packing and unpacking. Take the time to decide what you want to take and what you prefer not to take with you. Weed out your closets, linens and kitchenware. Preparing for your move offers you the perfect opportunity to declutter and start fresh in your new residence.
If you are not going to use Professional Organizers to unpack and organize your stuff, then I recommend you focus on one area at a time. For example, get your clothes unpacked and your bathroom items organized. It will make it easier the next morning when/if you need to report to work. You can always buy coffee on the way!
Moving can be an exciting time for you. With the right planning, this could be the best move of your life.
